The Steele Foundation
Triple Canopy
Vinnell Corporation (purchased by Northrup Grumman)

Corporations that offer private military solutions as part of diversified catalogues of services : Bechtel, Booz Allen Hamilton, Carlyle Group, Titan Corporation, Thales Group, Veritas Capital.

… "rest assured that these PMCs are working hard to bring tactical safety to the world, enhance security, justice and well-being, defeat the threat of violence where ever that leads them, more powerful than a consortium, faster than a wire transfer, able to leap bankers in a single bound, look, it's supermercs."

P.S. You, Joe Workingpoor and John V(anishing) Middleclass, are not their "client." You are a potentially "hostile environment."

They will always be with us. In the Middle Ages, they were 'condottieri', free-lance(r), free booter. In the future they will be corporations, refer to Pournelle's series 'Hammer's Slammers'. Private persons, not in the control of nation-states are now roaming the world, saying' let us prey'. We refer to them as terrorists. Do keep in mind that piracy actually did work. We might not have a U.S. Constitution had there not been pirates.

Dear Madame,

my name is Paolo and I have been going through your blog recently, finding it very helpful and interesting. I was wandering whether you could post an article about MUSC (http://www.mandusc.com/), a well known maritime security firm. If you prefer, I could write the article and send it to you for reviewing.

Please do not hesitate to contact me at p.viesti@accuracast.com
I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards
Paolo
