Hollywood Trot 'Em Out
Caught a few minutes of televised Pat Boone today speaking for the other wing of Hollywood. The theme seemed to be a shame-shame on fair-weather conservatives.
I missed most of his pro-Bush speak as his neck, wrinkled as a 200 y/o turtle's, held my attention.
And I wondered, wasn't his heavy-metal phase around the same time he lost his mind?

Is he still alive? G-d, I hat-, er, didn't like him back in the day and (mercifully missing his current public appearance) assume I still would not. That is a joke album cover, right? It's really, really funny either way. What's wrong with his eye? Oh, my bad, he's ahead of the wave and has a pierced eye!

Haha. That is the actual cover of the heavy-metal album he released, I think it was in the late '80s or early '90s. At the time Christians accused him of singing for Satan.
What a howl that eye piercing must have been for him.
