Seth Donnelly, a Bay Area high school teacher and labor activist, happened to be in Port-au-Prince as part of a delegation sponsored by the San Francisco Labor Council when it all happened. The next day he found a translator to accompany him into the ghetto where he says he was surrounded by “hysterical, grieving” people who showed him bodies waiting for burial, including that of a baby shot in his mother’s arms. Donnelly also filmed homes riddled with bullet holes so big he says they could only have come from tanks.

Snake's Oil

During the 1980s two-thirds of Somalia was divided among Conoco, Amoco, Chevron and Philips oil. Thanks to pro-US military dictator Mohamed Siad Barre. Between 1977 and 1989 the US supported Barre at $100 million a year for economic and military aid. Barre was overthrown in January 1991.

Daddy Bush, then VP was on hand to officially open the Texas-based Hunt Oil Corporation's refinery in Yemen in April 1986. In his speech, which concluded a 10-day Middle East tour, Bush stressed “the growing strategic importance to the West of developing crude oil sources in the region." (Boy Bush also smiles at Texas Hunt Oil, appointing James Oberwetter as Saudi ambassador.)

As usual, when the locals finally tossed out the US dictator, the US entered to bring democracy, freedom, peace, and stability - yawn. Hollywood and the media glamorized the Daddy Bush fiasco with "Blackhawk Down" and portrayed Somalis as murdering Black warlords incapable of running their own country and too stupid to accept US and UN kindness. Another quest for oil sold as a humanitarian relief mission to feed the hungry, who starve thanks to US and its dictators (famines are government related, not due to drought, etc). A bungled Bushcapade becomes an American war story with heroes. Body count 18 us, 1000 them. And Clinton can take the blame since he called off the quest. (Blackhawk Down, from uber producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who seems to produce much of our heartwarming propaganda these days.)

UN Peacekeepers in Somalia, roasting a child.

As the oil grab under the guise of feeding the poor didn't work we now have the Brussels-based International Crisis Group (think tank) providing cover and warning Somalia is "a logistic centre for al-Qaeda." The consequences are serious, since the terrorists are still at large thanks to the protection given to them by ordinary Somalis, the ICG report concludes. Boy Bush froze assets November 2001 of Al-Barakaat Bank, Mogadishu; through which 80 percent of Somalis receive funds from family members working outside Somalia. Breathtaking isn't it that the US knew in less than 60 days after 9/11 where gobs of terrorists banked but can't trace anthrax letters or those 9/11 put options on stocks?

Since "them" ordinary Somalis wouldn't accept US empire with rice packets from Daddy Bush, "them" will have to be killed as terrorists in the "Struggle Against Violent Extremism." Step right up, buy it here. Benevolent oily white folks have to SAVE the world, again and again.

Fraud of Our Jihad

The new slogan for TWAT, TWOT, GWOT, formerly the war against terror, formerly the war on terror, formerly the global war on terror, is, (drum roll): 'struggle against violent extremism' or SAVE. I haven't seen language throttled this much since US experts wrote propaganda for mangy Latin American dictators.

Hillary in the Heartland

The former first lady announced to the DLC she "had taken a new position with the group aimed at winning back heartland voters." I don't see the new position in her rhetoric but maybe she has new talking points coming soon.

Hillary: Read the Black Commentator, using the search function you will see that the DLC is not a good club to be aligned with. Oh, wait. She's reaching out to the white heartland folks that the DLC believes it lost. That changes everything. Is she going to win back the educated upper class white conservative vote or aiming for the lower/working class conservative base, or both? No matter, the only difference is an extra zero on their tax return and an extra Sunday at church.

My advice Hillary, for a platform on getting some of those heartland man votes, is go for the grandma image. Heartland men have a special relationship with grandma, or maybe great grandmother, as here in the Heartland grandmothers are often in their 30s so one might have to go to great grandma to find the older maternal appearance I'm talking about. Think of it as "winning back" a Jerry Springer audience who will cheer for grandma Hillary, but without the sex and voyeurism.

And hon you gotta have bigger hair, preferably red or red highlights, and more rouge, to catch the heartland man vote. God, how to be a voluptuous but unsexy grandma. Maybe a sort of elderly Zsa Zsa grannie. You'll need a Dodge extended cab truck with personalized mudflaps, and a couple of decals, a deer and a little boy peeing. The inside should smell like Avon's Topaze cologne, which was discontinued years ago but grandma has all those samples from when she was a saleslady. The heartland man likes his grannie with a truck; it's backup when he wrecks his. (He's been told only grandma and God look out for drunks and fools.)

Start now assuring the heartland man your favorite foods are Budweiser and pork skins while watching WWE, and that you've dreamed of meeting Nash and The Legend. You might mention too that although you're against sex in video games, you weren't outrageously offended by Torrie and Sable locking lips on PPV smackdown, but kind of shake your head and blush because you're supposed to be a grannie and the heartland man's grandma would tsk-tsk at such scenes. It's a fine line Hillary. You gotta be the heartland man's stern, sexless mam-maw babe who winks at her grandson's lasciviousness although grandma herself is not lewd, well not often anyway.

Assure the heartland man that you are compassionate and understand his bad back disk disease keeps him from working and it's only right his woman take two jobs to help supplement his SSI check. Even though his chronic pain keeps him from minding the kids he still has the right to deer hunt and fish because tramping through woods dressed in gear and gun relaxes some of that pain, plus the methadone and Oxycontin (promise to keep him in prescriptions). If you win back this man's vote his woman will follow; heartland women stand by their men (you have experience in that area). When you make campaign promises - try to look coy but not weak. You can affect this by looking him dead in the eye and batting your lashes like a frog in a hailstorm, then nod your head and smile slightly. The heartland man mistakes this for sincerity in women.

You'll have to remember all those downhome phrases you learned when you and Bill lived in Little Rock, and insert them in stump speeches. Like "more votes than you can shake a stick at" or "campaigning is more fun than watchin' a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest." You could throw in some mispronunciation and misspeak; it worked for Bush. For instance: A fool and his vote are soon punished. It won't make sense to him but that doesn't matter, it sounds wise as grandma's proverbs. Substitute 'crost' as in crossed the line, 'winder' for window of opportunity. Drawl and twang a little.

When you smile or chuckle, slap your thigh or the podium or the back of anyone near you as that's a sign of friendly camaraderie, but don't use the word 'camaraderie', too foreign sounding for the heartland man; substitute with the word 'fellowship' as he's heard that word from grandma's church ladies, when he feels guilty enough to attend church. And if you can use guilt with skill, I'm sure you can, that's the best tactic with this guy.

Yes ma'am, if you can make the heartland man feel guilty, then you got his vote. Drag all the little ladies with thinning hair and osteoporosis on stage with you. Blur the line between you and grandma. Make him feel a vote for the opposition is a vote against the grandma who raised him, the grandma who still babies him, slips him money, bails him out of trouble, and maybe raising one or two of his teenage kids. Make him feel a vote for the opposition is against grandma (you) and God, the only two people who ever looked out for him.

Troop Support

I began a recent examination of the "support our troops" jingo after reading an article from Townhall, The Left doesn't support the troops and should admit it, by Dennis Prager, advising Democrats to be honest and confess they do not support our troops. Prager has a point. He states the Left's message is "We believe this war is being fought for oil and for Halliburton and other corporations; we believe you are waging a war that is both illegal and immoral; we believe you have invaded a country for no good reason and have killed a hundred thousand Iraqis (the Left's generally mentioned number) for no good reason; but, hey, we sure do support you ... A German citizen during World War II could not have argued: "The Nazi regime's army is engaged in an evil war of aggression and is slaughtering millions of innocent people, and I therefore completely oppose this war, but I sure do support the Nazi troops." I guess Prager doesn't understand rhetoric from the opposition.

The Democrats, the Left, whatever label they go by these days, use suspicious logic: The war was poorly planned. Meaning if we had won quickly the venture would be moral. No WMD were found. Meaning if WMD had been found the dead Iraqi would be dead for a good reason. The war did not have UN support. Meaning had more thugs from the UN joined us then the war would be legal. The Left also uses the phrase "we're there now, we can't just leave" … which reeks of racism and scorn; code words for the Iraqi are incompetent to determine their destiny without Uncle White Sam guidance. The Democrats want their piracy neatly packaged as opposed to the Republicans messy thefts.

Prager claims the Left doesn't want our troops to succeed. Succeed? At what? Taking down an unarmed tyrant who controlled a carcass of a country, so US interests could strategically control the region for the benefit of a few?

Prager is correct when he states that the Left is dishonest. Kerry, Dean, Wilson, Sean Penn, Streisand, and numerous other Democratic heroes, and millions of their followers, are very much like the pro-war Right: Many poorly informed, who in their political ignorance actually believe that the past 5 years are the result of this administration's policies, when it's always been a bipartisan crime. It's the same racism, same greed, and the same masse hubris in both camps. The anti-Bushers love their bandwagon, conveniently forgetting (likely never aware of) Clinton's reign included welfare reform for the poor (wealthyfare intact), passed NAFTA, backed the prison growth industry, backed Iraq sanctions, increased funding for Israel, and waged the US/NATO Yugoslavia war. The Democrats commit atrocities at a slower pace, so slow most folks never notice.

Merriam, and other dictionaries define "support" as to endure bravely, quietly. The Cambridge defines as "agree with, given encouragement..." I've spent the last couple of years agreeing with my sons decision to honor their military oath. I've encouraged my sons to keep their heads down, come home safe. That's my support. I know which son had the better odds because he would do whatever necessary to come home alive. I know which son might hesitate, and lose his life. I know the naïve son, who came home nothing like the boy who went "over there." What does Prager know.

The Democrat party politicians have not, and will not, come forward to call this war what it is: Yet another illegal racist imperialist adventure, using the US military as corporate mercenaries, for the benefit of those who profit most. Both parties are guilty of backing a criminal pre-emptive doctrine. I endure my sons being involved in War, and if it pleases Mr. Prager, I admit I do not support our troops mission of empire at the direction of a government who's "grand experiment" has consistently delivered horror and havoc on the world. As my coffee mug says, Buck Fush, and all the Republicans and Democrats he rode in with.

Shagged

It is an ominous sign indeed when the liberals defend the CIA. The left rushed to quote and pen praise for James Marcinkowski's testimony of this past week. The democrats using "national security" as justification to ream Rove is so rightwingish. The liberals in bed with the same CIA that has brought death to millions with its dirty little wars.

The same CIA that overthrows democratically elected governments who do not rule in corporate America's best interests. The same CIA that mined Nicaragua's harbor. The same CIA that placed a bomb at Eden Pastora's press conference, as he was no longer useful, but instead killed and injured journalists, including an American. The same CIA boys who ran around Central America encouraging the oligarchies to torture, amass graves, massacre, and incinerate their own people.

It's a sorry day when "progressives" pretend the CIA works for our best interest. The same CIA who employed traitors such as Aldrich Ames, Edward Howard, Larry Chin, Harold Nicholson, and took decades to discover them. The same CIA with license to assassinate? The same agency involved in Abu Ghraib abuse? The same CIA who support and train thugs like Somoza, Montt, Noriega? The same agency involved in drug running around the world for decades? The same CIA backing massacres in Haiti today? The same CIA who didn't have a clue 9/11 was coming?

I too watched part of the "testimony." Former agent Marcinkowski played typical spin the spook. I noticed a few times at the end of his eloquent spiel Marcinkowski tacked on the term "analytical speculation." That's all it is, speculation. He comments that Wilson/Plame was an "unprecedented act will have far-reaching consequences." You really think any agent in the field is going to quit or not do his job because of Wilsongate? You really think a nation raised on James Bond and Tom Cruise will no longer have applicants for covert work or CIA?

Marcinkowski and others testispied to nothing more than opinions, speculation, possibilities, prepared in a convincing dialogue of could have, would have, should have. I no longer hesitate to say the democrats are as conniving and predatory as the republicans, although "liberals" may do it with slightly less blood.

Marcinkowski says to the spinners engaged in "partisan obfuscation ... a true patriot would shut up." Is that to silence critics by using the patriotic ploy, be careful what you say? So rightwing. Mr. M. speaks like a spook, but one who spins for the left cheek of the corporate ass.

Curly Shuffle

While democrats salivate over the thought of getting a piece of Rove or any part of any Bush operative, the Boy Presidential Handlers sail by with the Patriot enabling Act. Slip in John G. Roberts for the people's Supreme Court.

Give Bush more time to reel in supporters for his "social security overhaul" aka how to profiteer with other peoples retirement.

We don't have to look at the jobs situation. Forget about layoffs. Forget about outsourcing, which is becoming so creative with ideas of floating workers on a cruise ship to get around H-1B visa requirements. An "ownership society" where wage slaves are literally adrift.

Most importantly, BushCo doesn't get any flack from anyone over the cost of his War of Terror on AfghanIraq, which stands at $300+ billion, and predicted additional costs of $450 billion over the coming decade. Handed a blank check, BushCo will bleed the country dry. Will the political thugs eventually hand us bin Laden? After years stored on ice at the Farm. The nation will feel united, again, because we won one, finally got OBL, deader than alive. All the national sacrifice and hard times. It was worth it. Yeeeeehaw jeeeehad. But it's not over fellow citizens; we must stomp out hate and fear where ever our leaders find it.

Evil-doers, Dennis Prager has your number :"The Muslim world is obsessed with the Jews and with annihilating the one Jewish state, an obsession analogous to that of the Nazis." And now, the Muslim world is obsessed with annihilating Christians and Western infidels too.

Hey Moe, hey Moe (hey Moe, hey Moe)
Well-a, nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk (nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk)
Look at the Muslims! Look at the terrorists!
(Look at the bombing! Look at the blasts!)
Ruff, ruff! (Rove, rove!)
Well, we never miss a chance, we get up and dance
And do the geopolitical shuffle.

Urge Incontinence

Joseph Wilson December 2002: "An aggressive campaign on weapons of mass destruction may have the intended or unintended consequences of leading to a coup, causing Saddam's generals to move. We may want to therefore focus on high value targets. For example, right now, when an American or allied aircraft patrolling the no-fly zone is "painted", we go after the air defense site, the sergeants and the corporals manning the post. Instead, we should go after the headquarters issuing the order--this affects colonels and generals. We need to focus on global public opinion. We need to present evidence that Iraq does have weapons of mass destruction, not that we are overthrowing an Arab regime because we don't like it. I don't believe Saddam will go quietly. He will use every weapon in his arsenal, and he will cause trouble for us wherever possible."

March 24, 2003 A former U-S diplomat in Iraq, Joseph Wilson, says it is important to keep the Turks and Kurds from fighting each other. Ambassador Wilson says a smaller "war within the war" (for greater Iraq) could break out if Turkish and Kurdish forces clashed for control of Kirkuk -- the capital of the northern oil producing region. (Especially if one has a vested interest in Istanbul, etc.)

April 3, 2003 Wilson in a live online discussion:
Question from Boston, MA: Mr. Wilson. Thank you for taking our questions. What happens if we do not find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq?
Joseph C. Wilson: Whether we find them or not is now immaterial. The liberation is now the rationale. If we don't find them, discussion about them will cease and we will focus on the other reasons the administration has articulated. If we do find them, world public opinion will only change on the margins.

Question from Bethesda, MD: I don't understand. In the first answer you say the rational is liberation so WMD do not matter. While I couldn't disagree more, in the second answer you say this isn't a war of liberation. Does this make sense?
Joseph C. Wilson: The administration has offered a menu of reasons for the war. WMD was one of them. The answer was to the question of whether finding WMD would make a difference in how the war is perceived. And the answer is no. Here in the US we have bought off on the other reasons so for us it does not matter. Overseas, they think there are any number of other reasons behind what we are doing so again if we find WMD it won't change their position as to why we are doing what we are. The issue is really transfer of WMD to terrorist groups which had never occurred before in Saddam's regime but now that he is toast don't be surprised if as his last act of defiance he does precisely that. As to liberation, we will see a year from now if the Iraqis feel they are liberated. That will help determine victory in this conflict.

Question from London, UK: The liberation of the Iraqi people was not the cause or the reason of this war? Who said the Iraqi people want to have the U.S. liberate them?
Joseph C. Wilson: Agree. But we are where we are so we need to make the best of it.

Why would the CIA send a Bush critic to check out the Niger/uranium story? When did Wilson decide not to "make the best of it" and become a vocal and vehement anti-Bush and anti-war critic, sometime in May or June 2003? And to answer the question of how Novak (or anyone) learned Valerie Wilson's maiden name, perhaps they checked this page. Is this "gate" about "spite" as the left says, or "smear" as the right claims, or just pee on all of us?

Enjoy freedoms
I’m calling today to put in XXXXXXXX that here in America, freedom stands for freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of civil rights and freedom has gone a long ways when you are over there fighting a war. I just want to say thanks to all the military guys and troops for doing a great job. Things will get better. I just want everyone to remember that you are American, you are over here, you got a lot more freedoms than other third world’s countries. A definition of a commie is someone who wants the government to take care of them, pay out welfare, cause they are too lazy to work. Pay them Medicaid because they don’t want to get a job and get health insurance. A true American is all about freedom, and having the family values and moral respect they should have. Any kind of guy would go out there and help his neighbor while a commie would put a knife in your back.

Support Bush
I just want to say to the one that put in the paper about Bush being so crazy about Iraq. She or he ought to stop and think about the boys that are over there putting their lives on the line and volunteering to go back there a second and third time and their families who are having to do without things. It isn’t Iraq that is taking our money for medicine and things for people over here, it is the ones on welfare and all of that that is getting it free and don’t need it. That is what is going with our money, if you don’t believe it just get out and listen and go shopping and see who is doing all the buying. We have to help those foreign countries a little bit and if we weren’t fighting over there we would be just like in England, they would be bombing us and tearing us up again. I wish people would quit putting Bush down. They ought to stop and think back to World War II. Of course, I guess they weren’t old enough to remember World War II and Vietnam and all them. It wasn’t Bush in there then. How people had to suffer and live on nothing and had to pay their own medical bills, they didn’t get them free like they do now.

We're doomed, I tell ya, doomed.

;)

Fallujah Under Siege Again

Rome, 20 July (AKI) - US and Iraqi troops have launched another offensive on the city of Fallujah in the volatile Anbar province in western Iraq. US military leaders believe a group of guerrillas has established itself in the city once more, taking advantage of the last few months of relative calm. News of the new operation comes from aid workers from the Italian Solidarity Consortium (ICS) in Iraq, who are carrying out monitoring and humanitarian assistance programmes in the area to help the many citizens displaced by the last military offensive on the city, which began in November last year.

In the last few days there have been a number of explosions in Fallujah, a statement from the ICS aid workers says, and the multinational force has closed the city, to comb it house by house. This has sparked another mass exodus of civilians. Hundreds of families have already abandoned the city, they report, "further worsening the humanitarian emergency."

China Arms

July 21, 2005

China arms budget has tripled, says Pentagon.

From Jane Macartney in Beijing

CHINA is spending far more than it admits on its military as part of a modernisation process that signals long-term ambitions to extend its power not only over Taiwan but also deeper into the region, according to the Pentagon.

Li Zhaoxing, the Chinese Foreign Minister, yesterday swiftly dismissed a new report, presented to the US Congress on Tuesday. “China, remember, will continue to pursue a path of peaceful development,” he said, insisting that his country posed no threat to anyone.

The report could further fuel anti-Beijing sentiment among US politicians. Congress is already restless over China’s huge trade surplus, a currency policy seen as undervaluing the yuan to give Chinese goods an unfair advantage in the marketplace and a bid by a state-controlled energy firm for Unocal, the US energy producer.

“China does not now face a direct threat from another nation. Yet it continues to invest heavily in its military, particularly in programmes designed to improve power projection,” the report said.

The Pentagon estimates that China might be spending up to $90 billion (£52 billion) a year on its military, three times the officially acknowledged budget, a figure that would make it the world’s third-biggest defence spender after the United States and Russia. The Pentagon assessment details advances in China’s arsenal of short-range ballistic missiles, with between 650 and 730 deployed opposite the island of Taiwan, and notes that Beijing is adding to them at a rate of about 100 missiles a year. The issue of Taiwan lies at the heart of Sino-American relations since Beijing has said that it will retake the island, which it sees as a renegade province, by force if necessary while the United States is committed by treaty obligations to the island’s defence.

In addition, China possesses longer-range missiles capable of striking India, Australia and most American cities and has made considerable advances in sea and air power, including its indigenous Yuan-class submarine that was launched last year and a high-tech F-10 fighter expected to be rolled out this year. “Current trends in China’s military modernisation could provide China with a force capable of prosecuting a range of military operations in Asia, well beyond Taiwan, potentially posing a credible threat to modern militaries in the area,” the report said.

However, the report also cites weaknesses and concludes that China’s ability to project conventional military power remains limited. This, and the damage to China’s image and the impact on its economic growth, acts as a deterrent to military action against Taiwan.

The military build-up underscores why the US opposes any easing of a European Union arms embargo on China.

-------
China blasts U.S. concerns on its military rise.

BEIJING (Reuters) - China on Wednesday blasted a Pentagon report asserting that its fast-modernising military could pose a threat to the region, saying that the United States, the world's biggest defence spender, had no ground to stand on.

The U.S. Department of Defense report, made public on Tuesday, reflects concern in Washington over China's growing military and economic might, and in particular the fear that a changing balance of power in Asia could threaten Taiwan, the self-governing island Beijing claims as its own.

"The report groundlessly attacks China's military modernisation and makes unwarranted charges about China's normal national defence building and military deployments," Vice Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi said in a statement.

It "ignores the facts, spares no effort to spread the 'China threat theory', rudely interferes in China's internal affairs", Yang was quoted as saying on the Foreign Ministry's Web site, www.fmprc.gov.cn.

Yang noted that the U.S. military budget was almost 18 times that of Beijing's official military budget of about $26 billion. Outside analysts say China's actual outlay is far higher, and the Pentagon has put 2003 military spending as high as $65 billion.

"What authority does the United States have to gesticulate about and make improper comments on China's defensive national defence policy and measures?" he said.

He called on the United States to "respect the facts, correct its errors, stop gratuitously attacking China, stop interfering in China's internal affairs, stop its words and deeds that damage Sino-U.S. relations".

Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing dismissed the Pentagon report and said China's rise would be peaceful.

"China, remember, will continue to pursue a path of peaceful development," Li said at a ceremony to establish the offices of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Beijing.

American Swastika

Image hosted by Photobucket.com George Lincoln Rockwell was assassinated 38 years ago. Rockwell was shot by a sniper in a shopping center parking lot in Arlington, VA. His 15 minutes were for founding the American Nazi Party in 1959. He believed all Jews should be dispossessed and the proceeds used to ship all Blacks back to Africa. His group regularly attended Civil Rights meetings and demonstrations. He donated $20 to an event of Malcolm X and was loudly applauded. Malcolm told Rockwell that would be the loudest applause he would ever receive anywhere.

Rockwell studied at the Hebron Academy in Maine and attended Brown University before enlisting in the Navy and becoming a pilot who flew the Pacific in WWII. In 1967 after his assassination the Pentagon refused burial in the national cemetery at Culpeper because his followers refused to take off their swastika armbands before entering. His assassin was a party member (ex-Marine) who had been expelled from the party shortly before for "Bolshevik leanings."

Rockwell ran for Virginia governor, posing with a corncob pipe, mimicking one of his heroes, Gen. MacArthur. He used the confederate flag, but the stars have been dyed and replaced with Rockwell's name in his run for governor.Image hosted by Photobucket.com

His autobiography This Time the World can be read online. He makes a statement in the final chapter : "There are many who think as we do but who haughtily condemn our wild and wooly tactics as "undignified," etc. These know-it-alls cannot understand that being "dignified" or "refined" or "reasonable" has not helped any of the right-wing movements so far to success."

He was later called up again to serve in Korea, where he developed even more hatred for communism/socialism. When he set up the Nazi headquarters in Arlington in 1959 he distributed leaflets on the American Nazi Party and waited for media attention. The NYT editorialized that Rockwell should be heard because of the first amendment. In 1961 he spent time in New Orleans making anti-Jewish noise. (This time period is reminiscent of Lee Harvey Oswald career.) At one point he traveled Europe looking for recruits. He was often arrested for disorderly conduct, rioting, etc. He chose Jewish lawyers to represent him. Always acquitted or paying fines.

There are many who believe as Rockwell. Previous notables who supported Nazi ideology were men of ability: Charles Lindbergh, who accepted the German medal of honor from Hermann Goering because not to accept was "an unnecessary insult" to the Nazi leadership. Henry Ford, Prescott Bush, William Randolph Hearst, John Rockefeller, Allen Dulles; America's industrialists, bankers, media moguls, oil men, spy chiefs. Then as now, powerful people who supported world domination and cultural change, by force. A group of power brokers who were "wooly" tacticians but they knew when to cut and run, when to change their tune. And they learned not to target Jews or retracted if they did. Many later claiming it was only Hitler's economic finesse they admired. Men like today's Arnie of California who admire Hitler's speaking ability, as Arnold clicks his heels and plays Nazi marching songs from his collection.

Rockwell, was not the low life the public has been trained to associate with the modern neo-Nazi movement. Had he used a different rhetoric he could have sat in congress. As a WWII pilot, a patriot, fairly handsome; put him in a George de Paris suit and he could be a politician of the millennium. But Rockwell didn't understand the game, due to his middle class roots and lack of exposure to real power. He didn't grasp who the monied elite are and who directs political movements. His kind of bigot is packaged too blatant for mass consumption.

Today, hired hands like Jerome Corsi are the new mouthpieces for the old order. Corsi, swiftboat veteran writes at Freepers:"..."Ragheads are Boy-Bumpers (sodomizers) as clearly as they are Women Haters...it all goes together...Islam is a peaceful religion as long as the women are beaten, the boys buggered, and the infidels killed."

Men and women like Corsi are the Rockwells, just more con in their conversation; some better paid and more low-keyed, and more slippery than Corsi. To all of them it's simplified, it's "supremacy" (white) which is why it's so attractive to the lower classes; many who don't sign up, sympathize. Many who have nothing going for them can at least claim white brotherhood.

Men like Rockwell don't die out. Today's public neo-nazis are portrayed as skinheads, losers like Matt Hale, anti-government Timothy McVeigh, militia fanatics, a small isolated bunch of extremists. An attempt was made to connect Timothy McVeigh to the Turner Diaries. Connecting the nuts to other nuts keeps the real nuts safe and quietly in power.

The "neocons" are not neo. They've just updated their doctrine to give the appearance of inclusiveness. Men like Strom Thurmond who said "All the laws of Washington and all the bayonets of the Army cannot force the Negro into our homes, our schools, our churches." And Thurmond was rewarded with 50 more years on the job. Men like Lott in 2002 who said, "When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We're proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over all these years, either." All "these problems." What problems would that be Trent? I've seen the same mindset, especially here in the heartland. Racism is alive and well, and just itching for a government approved comeback. Scratch any rightwing conservative and there's a bigot. If one could pass for white and rub elbows with whites (of all economic classes) one might be shocked at the crude racism voiced openly.

The modern slippery Rockwells are expert pundits who appear regularly telling their fans what to think. Michelle Malkin, who believes internment is good, or in malkinspeak it's "evacuation." Rush Limbaugh, hero to both the dueling banjo confederate flag wavers and their cleaned up brethren in suits with a briefcase here in the Heartland. Michael Savage, burned out former Weiner, Oliver North former felon and current schmuck who describes a bag of enemies, accuses liberals and Hillary Clinton of supporting Saddam Hussein. Ann Coulter, another slurmeister who claimed we won the war in 17 days flat. Clarence Thomas, who feels martyrdom because of his attempts to obliterate the same social programs that helped put him ahead. There are hundreds of other high profile, vociferous fools, both secular and religious, shilling for the rightwing agenda. New Rockwellians, goose stepping, too busy basking in rightwing glory circles to realize they will eventually be a target as they are disposable, being themselves unlovable female dogs, mud people, addicts, closet homosexuals, and in North's case just plain patsy without a clue. But for now they're a convenient conduit for the elite belief systems and right-wing/mainstream agenda, as they speak to the working-class and unemployed masses. Useful idiots?

They're here. The crowd that has always believed they will reign supreme. The same group who imported Nazis to the US in the 1940s and '50s. The group who bought Nazi scientists, spy chiefs, doctors, eugenicists to live, work, and advance their ideology among us, stealth cons with a new strategy, same agenda. We defeated Hitler the man, not the idea. The overseers of the ideology are here to prune and cultivate global world order. They've a new flock of the too lazy and too cowardly who are too willing to follow. Numbed masses, entertained by a gruesome reality as long as it happens to someone else. They're not all blue-eyed blondes. Just as Hitler had Jews initially with him, today's' meisters appear inclusive. They legitimize racism and bigotry with paid non-white shills who support racial profiling, social program bashing, and demonization of anyone who deviates from the "conservative" party line. Non-white conservatives are deemed "noble" by fellow white conservatives. The thought seems to be if a non-white damns other non-whites behavior or ideas, then the condemnation, without question, must be valid.

The directors of the project for a new century believe they can succeed this time, can arrange an international order that is friendly to the goal of American (white) greatness. The same world dominion ideology, disguised as suited up members of mainstream politics, think tanks, religious hawkers, experts. Just keep the American public from viewing too much of the collateral damage or seeing too far ahead on the road they're taking.

There's a tendency to toss around the word "Nazi" by both sides. There's a reluctance to use it by some. The media will convince us it's wrong to even think a Nazi agenda could happen here and only the misguided freaks on either side would use the analogy. More propaganda so no one makes comparison? This time a swastika will not look like a swastika. Like Rockwell's flag, it will be painted over and other letters stitched on. Like Rockwell's confederate flag, folks get the message but don't think beyond the lettering, it's just a flag. Maybe today's swastika is no more than a bumper tattooed with decals announcing where a person stands with the government agenda, just supporting god, country, and the troops. Maybe the new swastika is entirely innocuous, like a cross, a star, or a ribbon. Not scary at all, if you're a refined tactician and let others do the wooly work.

Time Warp! (Or “A Warped Time.”)

By Kersasp D. Shekhdar

Below is a set of properties identifying a particular country at a particular point in time. What is the country and what is the time?

1. This country is still feeling both humiliation and resentment over an outright defeat suffered thirty years ago in a vicious and hard-fought war which it itself initiated without cause. (Prior to actual onset of hostilities, this country had already infiltrated considerable numbers of military men and spies in the attacked nation; it was meant to be a quasi-Imperial outpost; these agents were preventing the people of that nation from gaining their freedom.)

2. This country is purposefully carrying out the largest militarization in world history, and has been doing so for the past several years. Its military expenditures dwarf those of other countries.

3. This country has been, and is, stockpiling huge quantities of poison gas, chemical weapons, and biological weapons.

4. After a very closely contested election, the leader of this country does not win the leadership post outright. Instead, after haggling and dickering, the final word is had by an extra-electoral governmental entity. It awards the would-be leader the highest governmental post of the country.

5. The media of this country are no longer independent news organs but are shills and “whores” for the government and the powerful, and yellow journalism is becoming more and more frequent.

6. The media and the government have inculcated into the unsophisticated masses a stupid type of disdain for free-thinkers, intellectuals, and those highly educated in the liberal arts; these groups increasingly are reviled by the masses.

7. Peculiar and warped chemical and biological experiments are conducted by State agencies in secret on prison inmates, POWs, and mental patients.

8. An officially supported, apparent campaign of thought-control is underway as the government and its media channels barrage the public with slogans, doublespeak, misinformation and propaganda terms. It goes undetected by the vast majority of the people; for the most part the campaign succeeds.

9. The same year that this country’s ruler comes to power, an atrocity is committed upon a national symbol that causes it to burn. This act inflames the populace. Blame is quickly and undoubtedly placed on a specific group of people. However, a well-informed and intelligent minority find the official explanations hopelessly inadequate and unsound.

10. Cynically using the terrible act on the national symbol as a pretext, the ruling elite have rammed certain laws through the legislative body under cover of whipped-up hysteria. Those who had asked pointed questions when the laws were introduced are intimidated by being branded “unpatriotic” or “enemies of the state.” These laws “enable” the government to assume extreme authoritarian powers, eliminate civil liberties and contravene the (written) constitution, inter alia; thus the illegal and unconstitutional is provided a facade of legality.

11. A loose corps of jingo thugs, encouraged by agents of the government, harass and tattle upon free-thinkers and dissidents who express disagreement with those in power. The government also encourages informants to report any supposed suspicious activity on the part of their fellow-citizens to the government.

12. Initially, there is a silencing of dissenting voices; they are branded with a few different undesirable labels and are ostracized; this lets loose a slow-burning vague fear across the land; thus, those who lacked courage to begin with have become too frightened to express any political disaffection whatsoever.

13. Later, detention and internment (on trumped-up charges) simply for demonstrating opposition to the agenda and actions of the regime in power and even presumed guilt-by-association gradually become more common. Even after several hundred citizens and residents have secretly been detained, this anti-democratic phenomenon is ignored by the controlled mass-media.

14. A monopoly on State power is a hidden agenda which is gradually becoming not-so-hidden, and this is being carried out by a particular, well-organized group (in one or more government, financial, and/or industrial sectors).

15. The demonization of an ethnic group is underway in this country. It is subtly encouraged by the government and its media cohorts. A considerable number of members of this group emigrate from the country.

..............

28. Cunning psychological manipulation (by the government and its media agents) cause the people of this country a vague sense of feeling “put upon”; there appears to be a reactive borderline paranoia and an unhealthy, virulent breed of nationalism simmering across this country. These feed upon each other in a vicious cycle.

29. In an election that stuns interested watchers world-wide, the people of this country re-elect the ruler. This time, a greater number and a greater percentage of voters ostensibly vote for him, and this time he is directly elected to the top governmental post without the intercession of any third party.

30. A few of the above properties give one the impression of creeping Fascism.

31. A few of the above properties give one the impression of creeping Totalitarianism.

32. Most governments and nations, though discomfited, go about their usual business and pursue the policy of appeasement. However a few prescient and courageous governments are loudly protesting the whole thing.

What is the country and what is the time? No extra points for coming up with more than one correct answer. . . .

OK Bombing

Why do you think the D.C. government would cover up the OKC bombing? By J.D. Cash and Lt. Col. Roger Charles, (U.S.M.C. retired)

Speaking on the condition that their names not be revealed, a group of former Department of Justice (DOJ) officials have told this newspaper that the FBI never seriously investigated Tim McVeigh's connections to a right-wing paramilitary training camp.

Neither, they say, were McVeigh's ties to a notorious bank robbery gang operating in the Midwest investigated. Further, FBI agents interested in working the case were thwarted by Department of Justice attorneys and by other FBI officials.

Even spoken with their identities hidden because of fears of retribution, the explosive statements are especially surprising now, coming as they do on the heels of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision that journalists may be jailed if they refuse to reveal sources in federal cases.

That decision has reportedly already had a chilling effect on some federal whistleblowers.

In addition to the former officials' personal insights into the case, however, the newspaper has been able to corroborate much of what they have said about problems with the OKBOMB investigation with other sources and documents pertaining to the bombing of the A.P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995.

Documents from the FBI and other federal agencies involved in the OKBOMB case support their claims that the FBI failed to arrest all the persons involved and that political considerations played a role in deliberately limiting the investigation to Tim McVeigh, Terry Nichols and Michael Fortier even though the agencies repeatedly assured bombing victims and the public that all persons involved would be brought to justice.

No More Welfare Queens

Black economist, and Townhall yack, Thomas Sowell, has consistently told Blacks to stay off welfare and help themselves. Sowell's books, "Race and Culture," "Migrations and Cultures," and "Conquests and Cultures," sent Sowell on a world quest for the answer to: Why do some groups survive and thrive under the most adverse conditions while others disappear? His answer? People who possess cultural capital, a reverence for education, strength in family, and self-reliance -- endure. Guess the best way to destroy a group is strip them of their culture, make reading and writing illegal, breakup families by selling off members or determine who will breed with who, and providing just enough food and shelter for subsisting. Where have we seen that.

But Sowell might be on to something, and I agree with the "answer" he found on his quest. Black America should adopt a "never again" attitude, never again trapped in the cycle of forced dependency and accompanying demoralization. Black America should take its cue from Israel, and expect aid. If it works for Israel, it should work for Black America.

The US political body should give the 37 million Black Americans as much aid as they give Israel. For conciseness let's say 3.5 billion annually, and funds will be retro for 30 years, starting now. These funds will be tax free aid for the first 10 years, after which 75 percent of the funds will be considered aid and the other 25 percent loans with interest, and interest will be at a pittance percent with aid amount rising periodically in order to help repay interest. All aid and loans will end after approximately 60 years (length of time for Israel handout to date). We'll call the deal the Restitution Funds.

Payment for centuries of working indigo, cotton, rice, tobacco, sugarcane fields; for cooking, cleaning, washing dirty underwear, nursing sick masters, entertaining their guests, and wetnursing white babies while selling Black ones. Criminal restitution for rape, murder, perversity, torture, beatings.
(Foto public domain)Image hosted by Photobucket.com Louisiana slave.

The funds will be used for cultural repo and how to recover heritage. Funds will be used for education in all fields, and include early childhood immersion in the truth of Black American history and relieve the White man of his burden of revision. Money will go to family strengthening which will include resettlement in quality housing (not buddy contracting government projects) and the skills to maintain in an ownership society. Funds for self-reliance programs based on self-employment, entrepreneurship, and how to work with 'the man' instead for him.

The Fund will exclude the extortion racket of right of return, as we like it here just fine thank you. Black America will retain US citizenship and hold loyalty to America only (no dual loyalty worries). Lastly, military aid will, as does Israel, entail purchasing weapons and training. Not nearly as much will be spent on weaponry as Israel, as Black America does not need nukes, just enough small arms for a Black cultural militia, in case terrorists decide to burn or bomb churches, the neighborhood, Black businesses, or murder, etc. (No more of this justice delayed/justice denied shit either.)

I have it all worked out. No Black American will receive another dime in "welfare." No Black American will receive foodstamps or free childcare or medical care or college ride. My children will be appointed Restitution Fund operation officers, and do the disbursement.

Dot Dot Dot Foiled

August 9, 2004 - Outing of spy stuns security experts.
The revelation that a mole within al Qaeda was exposed after Washington launched its "orange alert" this month has shocked security experts, who say the outing of the source may have set back the war on terror.

Reuters learned from Pakistani intelligence sources at the weekend that computer expert Mohammad Naeem Noor Khan, arrested secretly last month, was working under cover to help the authorities track down al Qaeda militants in Britain and the United States when his name appeared in newspapers around the world.

Last weekend US officials said someone held secretly by Pakistan was the source of the bulk of the information justifying the alert. The New York Times obtained Khan's name independently, and US officials confirmed it when it appeared in the paper the next morning.

July 14, 2005 Connection to Al Qaeda Plot in Pakistan
Officials tell ABC News the London bombers have been connected to an al Qaeda plot planned two years ago in the Pakistani city of Lahore. The laptop computer of Naeem Noor Khan, a captured al Qaeda leader, contained plans for a coordinated series of attacks on the London subway system, as well as on financial buildings in both New York and Washington.

"There's absolutely no doubt he was part of an al Qaeda operation aimed at not only the United States but Great Britain," explained Alexis Debat, a former official in the French Defense Ministry who is now a senior terrorism consultant for ABC News.

At the time, authorities thought they had foiled the London subway plot by arresting more than a dozen young Britons of Pakistani descent last August in Luton, a city known for its ties to terrorism.

Moral Retards

Not sure how I missed this May 2005 story. Timothy Shortell, a Brooklyn College professor, called religious people "moral retards." Shortell, a sociology professor, wrote on a non University funded web site, on his own time, that the devout "are an ugly, violent lot. In the name of their faith, these moral retards are running around pointing fingers." Here's a link to Shortell's website although I don't see the rant in question posted there. "He's intolerant," fumed Alex Selsky of the school's Hillel chapter, a Jewish campus organization. "With this kind of unreasonable thinking, I don't know how he can be elected to head of a department."

Someone asked me the usual, "But what if he had written this way about Blacks or Hispanics or women?" God, I hate that argument. For the simple reason that one is born Black, Hispanic, female. An adult opts to join a cult of their choice, be it Christian, Jewish, Islamic, or my chosen cult, the BeachSun & Rum Last Resort, with open air worship services located on the Pacific around Masachapa. And, books have been written regarding Blacks, females, etc. as morally and intellectually inferior. Beginning with the Bible.

There were many "great whores" and harlots, and menstruous women tempting righteous men of the Bible. God consistently warned men about women, especially after Eve caused the fall by taking the serpent's advice about a little knowledge. Woman brought all this evil by tempting Adam, who being but a man in God's image, couldn't keep his fig leaf up.

Ham, father of Canaan, saw his daddy Noah naked in a drunken wine stupor (Genesis 9:18, 25, 10:6). Noah cursed his own son and grandsons, because as some experts claim Ham enjoyed his father's nakedness which indicated a weak character, or a dozen other parabolic interpretations, some gay related. Daddy Noah being weak with the grape seemed to go unpunished. Ham and Caanan are just one of the Biblical curses used to justify the pro-slavery mentality and racism. Black nations are rarely described in the Bible and when they are it's usually negative (even though Moses was married to a Black woman, redemption by husband I guess).

The Old Testament reads red with sacrifice and blood, animal sacrifice, cutting foreskin, or Abraham’s willingness to put a cap (or blade) in his son Isaac. Sure, these days the Bible is intellectualized, rationalized, allegorically explained as acts that acknowledge and reflect love of God, obedience. Animal slaughter, bloodletting, weird rituals, genital mutilation, and holding a blade over a son, is just old time religious loving. Mary and Joseph later in the story sacrifice two doves when they presented Jesus in the temple (Luke 2:22-29). Gutting the bird of peace proved they adhered to cult ritual. Don't Christians often say God so loved the world He sacrificed His only son? Not with a blade, gun, or anything merciful either. If you love me like I love the world, suffer, original tough love.

Modern warp has given us groups like Moonie, the Unification Church Father, who claims to be the second coming (insufficient number of white folks will believe that). He received a crown last year in a ceremony at the Senate Dirksen Building, and our embarrassed political leaders scurried claiming they had been misled about the events. Moon, a billionaire Christian freak, also puts on stadium weddings, is friendly in conservative circles, and supportive of other men who God speaks to, i.e. Bush the Boy who believes he was called by God to lead the nation in this time of "us" v. "them." But I would ask, was this call from Reverend Moon or is it the lithium overload voice Bush Boy has tuned in? Or is there some other heavenly mode of communication, such as space aliens? That's right, UFO deities.

The Nation of Islam, Joseph Farrakhan, is a man who believes Black people are of the tribe Shabazz, which came from outer space 66 trillion years ago. (This is Elijah Muhammad’s myth). White people were "devils" created by an evil Black scientist, called Yakub, in a 600-year crossbreeding experiment. Do bad NOI members hear Darth Yakub's voice? Are interracial followers called YakShabs? Farrakhan believes in space Gods and Frankenbreeds, just as Jews believe they are God's only chosen people minus the foreskin, and Christians believe they found the Jewish messiah with an improved version, who promises to rapturously suck righteous folk skyward. Watch out for Shabazzaucers and space debris.

Are religious people "moral retards" who are an "ugly, violent lot" as Shortell claims? Well, if the sacrifice and myth fit...

Stunned Sheep Going Over Cliff

CNN June 19, 2005 article on Joseph Wilson: Wilson was stunned when Bush stated in his 2003 State of the Union address, "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."

PBS Wilson interview with PBS August 2003:
Q: So you debrief, you go back home, you go back to your job. When does this rear its head again?
WILSON: The first time after my own particular trip out there that there was any talk that came to my attention about nuclear sales or sales of yellow cake to Iraq was in the British white paper, which made the statement that was later used by the president -- that Iraq had sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.
Q: What did you think when you heard that?
WILSON: It was mildly curious, but since they talked about Africa and not Niger, there was not much for me to say or to do. It was only after the president's State of the Union address that I called the State Department Bureau of African Affairs and spoke with somebody over there, and just asked the questions.
Q: What do you say exactly?
WILSON: I just basically said that if the president was speaking about Niger in the State of the Union address, then the State Department needed to be comfortable that he was accurately reflecting the facts, since my own trip out there, as well as the ambassador's own reports on the subject, as well as the senior military officer's report on the subject, said that there was nothing to that particular story. The response I got was that perhaps the president was speaking about another African country, which is totally conceivable. There are three other countries in Africa that actually produce uranium: Namibia, South Africa and Gabon. So the president could have been speaking about one of those countries. That was the response I got. That was satisfactory to me. I had no reason to believe otherwise.
Q: So you didn't make much of it at that point after the president's speech?
WILSON: No.

April 2004 Wilson publishes memoirs The Politics of Truth. He claims wife "Valerie had nothing to do with the matter," "She definitely had not proposed that I make the trip." Talks about Bush administration deceiving us into war which most thinking folks knew already and with more than 16 words, unlike Wilson who goes from mildly curious and not making much of it, to stunned.

July 10, 2004 WaPo article: The report states that a CIA official told the Senate committee that Plame "offered up" Wilson's name for the Niger trip, then on Feb. 12, 2002, sent a memo to a deputy chief in the CIA's Directorate of Operations saying her husband "has good relations with both the PM [prime minister] and the former Minister of Mines (not to mention lots of French contacts), both of whom could possibly shed light on this sort of activity." Wilson says of her memo: "I don't see it as a recommendation to send me." (What happened to she had nothing to do with the matter?)

Wilson, long-time corporate government servant, lifelong registered republican. Under Daddy Bush in 1990 Wilson served as acting ambassador to Iraq (did he tell SH it was okay to invade Kuwait?)

Wilson, left, 1990 with SH. Image hosted by Photobucket.com

He continued to serve under GHW Bush and Clinton before retiring in 1998, now serves on the CPS "team."

Wilson, retired, sports car and youngish 3rd wife = wanted power spot with Bush the Boy president, didn't get it = pissed off conservative turned tail, trying to eat his own. There really is nothing to see here.

A Story

As a child, a few years after WWII, my family bought its first black and white television, a Zenith. I Love Lucy, I've Got A Secret, and Gunsmoke were the favorites in our household. After that talking box entered my life, there were many school days I tried the tummyache ruse to stay home. My fake ache didn't work often but when it did it was great; comfy on the couch, the intermittent moan to justify my truancy, watching daytime live soaps with momma. I remember my older brother climbing on the roof many nights to turn the antennae as daddy yelled through the window "a little more," "no, no, back the other way," and "right there, stop, right there!"

I remember evenings my mom, dad, brother and I sat around the tiny screen watching the town marshal Matt Dillon outdraw hired guns and bad guys who wandered into Dodge on his watch. Being the good guy Marshal Dillon never gunned down outlaws without lots of reason, at least 25 minutes worth of justification in the 30-minute episodes. You cheered when he shot them in a showdown at high noon. Long before political correctism, we referred to his hop-a-long deputy Chester, as gimpy. And I was a teen before I realized that redheaded Ms. Kitty, the pretty painted lady who ran the saloon, was serving Marshal Dillon more than whiskey.

There were also documentaries of the Holocaust, although I don't recall them being called documentaries back then. I was horrified at the films of skeletal bodies in piles, on trucks, in open pits. I'm sure my parents thought they were using modern technology to teach me history, but they should have censored my viewing the programs because the images haunted me for years afterwards. The footage might be considered tame compared to the technicolored digital carnage onscreen today but I think the B&W flickering images had more effect as it was our reality TV, whereas the villain in Dodge City never bled or even had a hole in his shirt after Marshall Dillon shot him dead.

I remember one particular docudrama interview with a woman who told her Holocaust survivor story of being herded into a room with others for a "shower" but it was a gas chamber. She claimed she survived because a guard had not completely shut the door, leaving it cracked, where she was able to put her face and breathe air. She said they entered naked through one door and 20 minutes later the dead were taken out through another door to the crematoria.

Thirty years later, living in a large metro area and access to cable, I noticed at least 3 nights a week on one channel or another, the continued docudrama of the Holocaust. I never again saw the footage with the woman who survived by breathing through a crack in the door, but as an adult I asked myself if such a feat was possible in a gas chamber. Why didn't others in the gas chamber try to join her at the door? Why did no one open the door to run from the gas? I remember as a child dwelling on the horror of that story; how awful it would have been with poison gas seeping in and struggling to breathe through a door left ajar, in a chamber full of human beings screaming and dying. As an adult I asked did Nazi gas chambers leak? Did the Nazi guards not detect cyanide seeping from the door, was the omission of a warning odorant on Zyklon not a risk for the guards? How did she escape being disposed of with the other victims when the chamber was cleaned out?

I questioned a great deal of WWI and II history as an adult and long before hearing the term "Holocaust denier." I asked how could a little nobody thug like Hitler rise to power without major players backing him? Whose global money financed the Nazi agenda? Who were all the players in the campaign to overturn the tables of the global moneychangers? The lone lunatic leader of a cruel and gullible people doesn't do it for me, anymore than "they hate our freedom" does it today. And aren't all wars holocaust? Weren't Nagasaki and Hiroshima holocausts or is it simply they deserved it and we saved lives, and proved a point with not one but two nukes?

I don't deny the death and evil that was waged on the world last century, it continues today. I just demand more clarity and proof as to who, why, where, what. After all, not too long ago history portrayed Indians as savages who deserved smallpox blankets, portrayed slaves as subhuman who deserved bondage; history claims we didn't know what the Nazis were doing, couldn't imagine a Hitler after eons of genocidal conquerors, that we couldn't imagine hijacked planes used as weapons. Bring 'em on, because Gunsmoke are us. History is a story, stay tuned for the next episode, different time, same sponsors, same channel. But there may be a crack in the door, breathe deep.

Its All About

I caught a TV blip today with Geraldine Ferraro, who warmly intoned: "I went from a kid who lost her father and growing up in the south Bronx to someone who almost lived in the WH….just shows you what this country is all about."

I hate when people do that. The "ain't we wonderful" song. I could type a list as long as a Sicilian vendetta, of other countries who produced presidents, premiers, vice presidents, prime ministers, heads of state, who began their careers as "simple folk." Just average gals and guys who made the big time. It is not, NOT I repeat, a phenomenon that can only happen in America or define what this country is "all about."

There's Golda Meir.
Benazir Bhutto, PM of Pakistan in 1988.
Violeta Chamorro, newspaper publisher and president of Nicaragua.
Head of State Sühbaataryn Yanjmaa, Mongolia, 1954.
Interim President Lydia Gueiler Tejada, Bolivia, 1980.
President Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, Iceland 1996.
President Agatha Barbara, Malta 1987.
Acting Head of State Carmen Pereira, Guinea Bissau, 1984.
President Maria Corazon Aquino, Phillipines, 1992.
Acting President Ertha Pascal-Trouillot, Haiti, 1991.
Head of State Sabine Bergmann-Pohl, East-Germany, 1990.
President Mary Robinson, Ireland, 1997.
President, 1994, Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga, Sri Lanka, VP 1984-86.
President Mireya Moscoso Rodrígez, Panama, 1999.
President Gloria Arroyo, Phillipines 2001.

So what does Geri mean when she says that's what this country "is all about?" Opportunity to move up to the big house? A chance to make good? Folks, opportunity is everywhere on earth if you know where to look and place yourself in its path. It also takes some education, effort, instinct, and the ability to recognize and use one profitable action to create the next. These are skills, and a little luck helps. People worldwide are born with skills and a little luck. "What this country is all about" is politicking slogans, to pull a warm nationalistic fuzzy from the listener. People around the world have the same tag line. I cringe at slogans designed specifically to work on the simple minds of the boneheaded. As if wealth and success can happen only in America, that only in America can a little orphan girl name Geri almost move into the White House.

Of course it's easier and quicker if a person is born into circumstances that generate prospects and possibilities, which all of the above women had. It didn't hurt Geraldine that daddy was a mob connected nightclub owner who ran a numbers racket in Queens in the 1940s. Nor did it hurt when her cousin Nicholas Ferraro got her a job as assistant DA in Queens. Even her husband, John Zacarro's sleazy business practices have not hampered success, financially at least, but her ethics have been in question since her 1984 VP run with Mondale. As an attorney, politician, and talking head, she is held by some to be an icon of success for women and liberals. Are they serious? Another example of the fantasy served up by America's political henhouse. I'd rather have Evita Peron in my face; at least her orphaned poverty was real and everyone knew who she screwed.

Hmmmm

According to Arms Control Center's terrorism timeline acts attributed to Islamic jihadists are as follows:

April 18, 1983: Sixty three people, including the CIA's Middle East Director, are killed and 120 injured in a 400 lb. suicide truck bomb attack on the US Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. The driver is killed. Responsibility is claimed by Islamic Jihad. October 23, 1983: Simultaneous suicide truck bombs on American and French compounds in Beirut, Lebanon. A 12,000 lb bomb destroys a US Marine Corps base killing two hundred and forty one Americans; another fifty eight Frenchmen are killed when a 400 lb device destroys one of their bases. Islamic Jihad claims responsibility. March 16, 1984: CIA station chief in Beirut, Lebanon, William Buckley, was kidnapped by the Iranian backed Islamic Jihad. He was tortured and then executed by his captors. March 16, 1985: US journalist Terry Anderson is kidnapped in Beirut, Lebanon, by Iranian backed Islamic radicals. He is released in December 1991. June 9, 1985: US academic, Thomas Sutherland, at the American University, Beirut, Lebanon kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and held until November 18, 1991. April 14, 1988: The Organization of Jihad Brigades exploded a car bomb outside a USO Club in Naples, Italy, killing one U.S. sailor. February 26, 1993: World Trade Center in New York, USA, attacked by a massive bomb planted by Islamic terrorists. June 25, 1996: Islamic radical terrorists opposed to the western military presence in the Gulf region, explode a truck bomb next to a USAF housing area at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, killing 19 American servicemen and 385 injuring more. November 12, 1997: Two unidentified gunmen shot to death four U.S. auditors from Union Texas Petroleum Corporation and their Pakistani driver after they drove away from the Sheraton Hotel in Karachi. The Islami Inqilabi Council, or Islamic Revolutionary Council, claimed responsibility in a call to the U.S. Consulate in Karachi. In a letter to Pakistani newspapers, the Aimal Khufia Action Committee also claimed responsibility. August 7, 1998: US Embassies in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar-es-Salem, Tanzania, heavily damaged by massive bomb attacks. US intelligence blames Islamic groups linked to Saudi dissident Osama Bin Laden. (Note he's a dissident, no mention of Al-Queda.) August 12, 2000: In the Kara-Su Valley, the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan took four U.S. citizens hostage. The Americans escaped on August 12. October 12, 2000: In Aden, Yemen, a small dingy carrying explosives rammed the destroyer U.S.S. Cole, killing 17 sailors and injuring 39 others. Supporters of Usama Bin Ladin were suspected. (Still no mention of Al-Queda.) December 30, 2000: A bomb exploded in a plaza across the street from the U.S. embassy in Manila, injuring nine persons. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front is allegedly responsible.

Previous Islamic targets were military or CIA related, journalists, diplomats, academia, businessmen (all suspected of being CIA operatives). The "Islamic terrorists" now have multiple names; a new unknown group claiming responsibility with each attack but always connected to Al-Queda. In 1993 the WTC attack never mentioned bin Laden or Al-Queda. Other than the 1993 attack by an Islamic group, attacks were "over there" until 2001. Some analysts suggested the first WTC attack was connected to the Gulf War, in retaliation. One of the 1993 WTC bombers told a Secret Service agent he "would have put sodium cyanide into the WTC bomb if he had had enough money..." There was an attempt back then to connect the '93 attack to Iraq/Saddam, after the bombers placed a Ford van in the basement of the WTC in hopes that toppling the towers would create massive death (6 died); unknown to the terrorists was how neatly the towers would collapse into their own footprints as happened in 2001.

The jihad began the millenium with resources to simultaneously hijack planes and plant multiple bombs under the Western world's trillion dollar high-tech noses, and hundreds of intel agencies, at home and abroad, are unable to hand the media anyone more sinister than the lone nut Richard Reid fumbling with matches, rather than using a Bic, in an attempt to fire up his tennis shoes.

Without a clue to Western leaders, the "Islamic groups" were no longer content with ramming US ships with a dingy, not satisified with grabbing CIA station chiefs or business men. The jihad has now changed its target to the masses; the very people who will demand more militarism and pay up more money for government protection. There's a phrase: "Kill the people and they send more soldiers, kill the soldiers and they go home." Guess the wealthy jihadist masterminds never heard that maxim as they seem to be doing it backasswards.

Holy Reminders Memo

End of Days, world war, atomic holocaust, the "big one" is coming next year, 2006. That is, if you believe in Biblical decoding interpretations by Michael Drosnin, author of The Bible Code. Drosnin is a former WaPo and WSJ reporter. I've read somewhere Drosnin is an atheist or agnostic Jew. He reads like the Ms. Cleo of the Middle East, or a member of the New Age Jewish movement. The kaballah, magical, occultish, amulet wearing, charm collecting, potion making, trendy sort of stuff normally attributed to liberal types, but attract many of the rightwing folks who don't feel they should wait for all things to come when a good potion or amulet might work, and more fun than a barrel of Bible thumpers.

Bill Keller, a NYT reporter, penned in March 2003 that a gathering had taken place a month before with Paul Wolfowitz, top MI officials, and the (scariest intel group) DIA's Lowell Jacoby. Supposedly the group wasted several hours with Drosnin decoding, predicting the future. No mention of any amens, praise the lord, and Torah chanting in the corner. Drosnin supplied the believers with OBL's location and hopefully we're still hot on that unholy CIAsset trail. Liberal bloggers Off The Kuff and Atrios laughed "lord help us all" and the rightwing bloggers claimed the left was blowing the "meeting" all out of proportion because lefties labeled it a "briefing." Okay, so it wasn't a "briefing," it was a "meeting." That makes it less officially a nut group perusing Genesis as a lead up to the Iraq War; just a Bible group of brass and suits discussing the next civilized crusade using every fifth letter from the Tanakh.

Drosnin's Hebrew decoderism has been debunked by several sources, but that doesn't keep millions from believing, particularly and especially if slaughter and theft can be excused as a mandate from G_d and prophecy. Can't go against God's will be done's.

Drosnin was not the first decoder. Jewish scholars Doron Witztum, Eliyahu Rips, and Yoav Rosenberg "decoded" in 1985. By the way, the coding is done using the Torah and book of Genesis. Mr. Rips issued a statement regarding Drosnin's work, stating "I do not support Mr. Drosnin's work on the Codes, nor the conclusions he derives." Rips says all attempts to extract predictions are futile and of no value, but then says the Torah codes exist and are not a coincidence. And says he personally witnessed Drosnin locating the Rabin assassination prediction in the Bible. Rips sounds like a politician, agreeing while disagreeing from every angle.

The fact that DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) director Lowell Jacoby attended this divine decodist meeting in February 2003 was sufficient to raise my eyebrows. You never hear much about DIA. It's little brother CIA and ugly stepsister FBI catch the blame that rolls downhill. Jacoby, a three-star military officer is the top advice man to the Secretary of Defense Herr Rumsfeld, and to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on matters of military intelligence (and Bible predictions). DIA is headquartered at the Pentagon with operational activities at the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center in DC, the Armed Forces Medical Intelligence Center (think anthrax)Detrick, MD and the Missile and Space Intelligence Center in Alabama. Jacoby chairs the Military Intelligence Board, which coordinates activities of the defense intelligence community, and other relationships with other communities. Now what or who does DIA coordinate?

Air Force Intelligence, Army Intelligence, Central Intelligence Agency, Coast Guard Intelligence, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, Department of State, Department of the Treasury, FBI, Marine Corps Intelligence, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office, NSA, Navy Intelligence. "Other relationships": National Security Council, President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board, President's Intelligence Oversight Board, Office of Management and Budget, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, DoD.

Katherine Graham said in a speech to the CIA 1988: "We live in a dirty and dangerous world. There are some things the general public does not need to know and shouldn't. I believe democracy flourishes when the government can take legitimate steps to keep its secrets and when the press can decide whether to print what it knows."

She's half-ass right, just look how secrecy's dirt and danger are flourishing, but "legitimate" and "government steps" can't be used in the same sentence. Nor does the press know much these days although they pretend to in print. That's not democracy. Wonder if the Bible code or the press know where that went.

After 3-1/2 Years

Still no arrest of inner circle pretzel that beat the shit out of Bush.

Cocks Walk

Bush and Blair over the last couple of years have had some major change in body language. Not the physical changes normally associated with aging and worry on the faces of leaders of the free world or "war presidents," but language that says "this is killing me." While Boy Bush has always had a cock of the walk strut, puffed out chest and bobble head, his body language has deteriorated to that of a POW, alternating between blinking Morse code "save me" messages to the look of a prisoner who has accepted his doomed status of being captured. The darting eyes, the sarcasm he often answers questions with, have worsened. Blair too, originally suave and polished, has the darting blinking eyes of a liar. Both at times have the look of a trapped animal, but an animal that wants to believe there's an escape if he can just find the hole to slip through. Having spent a lifetime wiggling out of things they didn't want to do, both men now wear the permanent "in the headlights," stunned at times by getting stuck in the center lane on a highway they didn't know was there.

A few years ago the global meisters schmoozed both men with pep talks of an adoring public, glory and glowing pages in the books of history. That they would lead the way to a new world of peace and democracy and order. Now they live nightmares rather than the grandiose dreams they saw a short while ago. The body language of the two reads like a pamphlet entitled "Oh god, how will I get out of this." Too late boys. Bush knew the truth before Blair but only because the controllers are more concerned with the White House than Downing Street and only there because the US is the superpower.

Both men look to be raiding the liquor and medicine cabinets and not sleeping well. Not because of "terrorism" or "war" or domestic problems. But because they know now the losing hand they've had in the world order and the senseless slaughter and more to come. Both grew up pampered, spoiled, self-centered, and callous, assuming privilege and favor was their birthright. Both were chosen to mark this point in history because they are emotional boors, simple and narrow-minded men. Their self-serving pick me-me ideology could be easily manipulated and their egos cajoled without difficulty. Bush and Blair are the patsies for the world order initially diagramed by the puppetmeisters behind Reagan, Bush I, and Thatcher.

As the ideology of world 'order' brings blood, tyranny, and chaos only simple minded men would want to be left holding the shitty end of the schtick. Reagan, a doddering clown was not fool enough to go the distance for the neocons. Reagan rattled chains about Islamic terrorism and training grounds in Nicaragua during his reign but squawked at being the "war on terror" president for the neocon ideologists. Daddy Bush stopped short too, leaving Saddam in power; he didn't want history's priapismic "war on" to mark his legacy, but ran home to sober up Junior to take the fall.

Clinton, while he did pass legislation, executive orders, and waged minimal war, to smooth the way, the two "terrorist" attacks on his watch (OKC and the first WTC bombing) did not bring about the much lusted after neocon's War on Terror. Both jobs botched, McVeigh being caught and the WTC not creating enough carnage and mass outrage. Clinton fought going down as the patsy, therefore his shaming and impeachment; a legacy as the president who lied about a knobjob. Vindictive meisters they are, but maybe this slap down is their sense of humor.

Now one might pooh-pooh the reading of body language as being in the realm of reading tea leaves and Tarot cards but not so fast. All intel agencies have courses in body language. Why even Mr. Bush the Boy believes, as he states in March of this year regarding Condi on her visit to overseas allies, "I look forward to not only hear their words, I want to hear about their body language."

This week, after the London bombings, Bush and Blair, faced the camera uttering the worn out banal remarks about terror and terrorists, darting eyes, blinking back tears, not for the innocent victims, but for themselves, for being dupes in a game they entered as guaranteed to win and instead find themselves the sorry ass dodo birds of a feather.

Bush The Uniter

I'll be damned, the Boy Texan is a uniter. Iran and Iraq have agreed to cooperate in military and anti-terror fields, defense ministers of the two countries said at a meeting in Tehran yesterday (July 7). Iraqi Defense Minister Sadoun al-Dulaimi states it's a new chapter in the relationship between the two countries. Iran's defense minister, Rear Adm. Ali Shamkhani, called the pact to train the Iraqi military "a new chapter" in relations between the two countries.

U.S. military spokesmen in Baghdad and Lt. Gen. David H. Petraeus, who is in charge of the training program, declined to comment on Iraq's deal with overwhelmingly Shiite Iran. Petraeus, from his Green Zone HQ did say recently the Iraqi forces are "now ready to fight" having been mostly cured of the "tiny heart syndrome" (unwillingness to face combat).

Our Mr. Rumsfeld has stated "Iran should be on notice; efforts to try to remake Iraq in Iran's image will be aggressively put down." But that was said two years ago. Since Condi Rice's surprise Iraq visit this past May the tone has softened a bit with Rice stating she hoped there would be good relationships between Iran and Iraq. Did Condi help the boys in the 'hood play nice? Wonder how many US dollars goes to Iran for the "new chapter" in training Iraqi forces?

Stay The Course

March 4, 2005 - Britain to pull 5,500 troops out of Iraq. Defence chiefs are planning to reduce the size of the British military force in Iraq from 9,000 to 3,500 troops within 12 months as part of a phased withdrawal from Iraq, The Telegraph can reveal.

July 5, 2005 - Britain planning major Iraq troop pull-out. London: Britain's defence ministry has drafted plans for a significant troop withdrawal from Iraq over the next 18 months and a big deployment to Afghanistan, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday.

July 7, 2005 - Al-Qaeda' group linked to London blasts. A group calling itself "Secret Organization — al-Qaeda in Europe" has posted a claim of responsibility for the series of blasts in London, a German magazine reported Thursday. Der Spiegel magazine reported that the group posted its message on a Web site popular with Islamic militants, which it did not name. It said the group claimed the explosions were in retaliation for Britain's involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Guess phony Tony will have to stay the course now.

White Girl Saga

I have little sympathy with the Natalee Holloway case. Call me heartless and cold. But finally MSM has dribbled some talk on the Pretty White Damsel In Distress syndrome. The WaPo recently published (White) Women We Love. Even Bill O'Really and Michelle Malkin have commented on the phenomenon, of course months and years after the Black community, who have talked about the reality of pretty white girls gone missing and Black girls gone no air time.

Remember the movie A Time To Kill with Matthew McConaughey as the defense attorney and Samuel L. Jackson as the perp. Two beer guzzling rednecks in the "deep south" grab, rape and leave for dead the 9 y/o daughter of Jackson. Jackson takes his trusty gun and waits in the courthouse for the two yokels and blows them away. The movie centers around the trial with a white jury, southern homes without apparent air-conditioning, and Sandra Bullock as the token northern liberal who helps Matt on the case, etc. What seems to win the case for the defense is the closing argument where McConaughey describes the brutal rape and attempted murder of the little black girl (who is left so damaged she will never have children) with McConaughey telling the jurors to close their eyes and "imagine she was white."

Well, close your eyes and imagine Natalee Holloway is Black, without the resources of the Holloway family, and with a weave instead of blond mane. Firstly, a prosy bit of reporting would praise the white altruism of classmates, teachers, chipping in funds to finance her graduation beach week. Then media attention would turn on Nateesha and leave the impression, as it often does with victims of color and/or the poor, that Nateesha Black was "asking for it." After all, she left the local bar with 3 men who were strangers, perhaps to have an orgy before returning to her hotel.

There would be speculation of drugs involved, not the date rape kind that seem to be used on white only sorority sisters, but drugs taken intentionally to get high and horny, crack cocaine, etc. Nateesha Black's entire itinerary would be itemized: Sleeping off hangovers till mid afternoon, pointless shopping sprees, bar hopping, how many young men she could have had sex with during beach week. The safety of Aruba, one of the highest ratings in the Caribbean, would be reiterated on and on, so any foul play must have been contributed to by Ms. Black's behavior of impropriety and sordid risk taking. The fact that friends had no qualms regarding Nateesha leaving a bar with 3 unknown men would lead us to believe she frequently partied this hardy. There would be the implied racial immorality of Nateesha, as good girl white tourists don't get drunk and fuck around on tropical islands.

The media, if it even interviewed Nateesha's family, would chose the most overweight, Ebonic speaking members, stuffed into a living room with plastic covered furniture and Nateesha's numerous nappy headed missing teeth family would flail and wail embarrassingly. Victim sympathy assassination by the media. Imagine Nateesha's case, rather than weeks or months, it would be a narrative minute.

Here Come Da Judge

The Supreme Court: A group of lawyers imposing the will of their backers and their personal predilections on the rest of us. The views of the Supreme Court are always compatible with the elite who govern. If the ruling class deems it, so shall it be.

I'm not sure why citizens are concerned about Boy Bush appointing a judge to the SC. Is it fear of taking away "freedom of choice?" Is it fear of reversing affirmative action or not reversing it? Granting gay rights? Maintaining separation of church and state or setting Yahweh and Jesus up on CSPAN? Clobbering our civil rights? Never fear. These are push button election time issues, not issues the SC will change in any demonstrable way or in any way that will alter the life and times drastically for average Joe.

The Court (and their backers) don't really care if Lakeesha and Tiffany abort. Aren't awfully concerned whether it's Tyrone or Tyler who affirmatively get that job or college spot. The Court won't make life any better or worse for Bruce and Steve. And the God-fight is just a seasonal invocation for political distraction. These issues are the "prejudices of the people." As Abe Lincoln said "corporations have been enthroned...an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people...until wealth is aggregated in a few hands...and the Republic is destroyed.

The Court will consider cases that give them the appearance of rationality and above reproach with a ruling to please one side and then the other. Example: SC ruling against medical marijuana, pleases conservatives (who get their high on Oxycontin). SC ruling against the 10 Commandments displayed on government property, pleases liberals as maintaining separation of church and state. Though most of us don't care if marijuana is medically legal or not, nor do most of us care if Moses is standing on the courthouse lawn with a tablet on stealing, killing, and adultery. Such SC rulings make one side or the other feel they've "won" a point, and the Court appears to be working for we the people in all its wisdom, while performing no harm to corporate coffers. A win-win if you're more worried with toking and praying than corporate hegemony. If the SC had been more "liberal" in 2000 does anyone really think Bush v. Gore would have had a different ruling?

The SC has always been sympathetic to the elite and will always minimize progress if it threatens to challenge the distribution of wealth and power. The majority of America should have noticed by now that the SC has, for the most part, been another tool to stop any change in the nation's class system of wealth and power.

But what of SC civil rights decisions you ask. After the Civil War there were several Amendments passed giving freedom and political rights to Blacks but we know such laws were no more than paper and ink. In 1954 the SC declared public school segregation and the "separate but equal" doctrine unconstitutional. In 1955, after Rosa's inspired bus boycott, the Court decreed Montgomery's segregated bus system to be unconstitutional. Between 1960-1963 there were 20,000 people arrested for protesting and breaking segregation laws. From the end of the Civil War to the 1960s it took "we the people" and a great deal of rioting, marching, water hoses, dogs, civil disobedience, death, National Guard, and more paper and ink just for me to sit down and use the front door with half of my own family. Don't wait for the SC to lead the way to the promised land.

The SC will rule against those who would interfere with corporate rights. The recent "eminent domain" ruling, which states personal property seizure by the more powerful is okay because "local officials know how best to help cities." Sure they do, just look at the beauty, safety, and marvels of our cities, thanks to the helping hands of those officials. Regardless what the liberal/conservative makeup of the SC, the SC will always rules in favor of monied America (or leave loopholes large enough for corporate attorneys to get a Learjet through).

Some argue the recent eminent domain ruling will harm most those in the upper class, the "ownership" society. Not in my backyard. I've watched this confiscation scam going on for at least 3 years now here in the Heartland. It's targeting low income, working class, or slum areas. Often dilapidated homes that have been in the family for 3 or 4 or more generations. The city claims they're cleaning up these areas. They are. Bulldozing more homes than Ariel Sharon, often not compensating owners as property deeds have been "lost" through the years, or suddenly decades of back taxes are found on the books making payoff out of reach for the home owner. Using tactics such as condemning the homes and giving the owner 30 days to repair, knowing that on minimum wage, poor or no credit, renovation won't happen, and then the "officials" claim the property. With buyers waiting. I've seen city blocks razed and sitting empty recently through such process. Rumor is a "big company" wants the land for maybe a factory (jobs!). Thanks to officials who know what's best could we be heading back to the days of the "company town?" Another day older and deeper in debt, St. Peter don't call us 'cause we owe our soul to the company store. On the other hand, the company town might make US labor competitive in the "free" market.

In 1776 the colonies fought to rid themselves of British corporate exploitation. How quickly we forget, or maybe it's how often we're told it was something about tea and taxes and "freedom." Corporate rule has been claiming Bill of Rights protection for more than 100 years, thanks to the Supreme Court. So, whether Bush appoints liberal or conservative SC judge, it really doesn't matter. The Court, along with the other government branches, are not serving we the people; we the people have never gained anything without a bloody fight. The SC can tell our President and Congress if their actions are unconstitutional, but they don't seem to do much of that, and when they do it's not detrimental to the P&L sheet. The Court will not defend us from the abuses of power. The Court jesters, liberal, moderate, or conservative, will preserve and protect the corporate ruling elite from the people, not vice-versa. That is their supreme function.
