Making the Rounds

Samples of blog buzz:

Doesn't look like Farsi to me ….

Pentagon caught red-handed trying to frame Iran ….

US fabricating evidence …

Iran uses the Gregorian calendar …

Etc. etc. etc. shriek, eek, lookie lookie monkey boy doing it again.

Hundreds of European, North American, South African, Australian, Latin American manufacturers produce ammo, for their own and others use, including for the US. And - you're not going to believe this but – said hardware, more often than you wanna know, is hijacked, lost, stolen, disappeared!

The now famous photo of the 81mm HE 3-2006 mortar could have been made anywhere and sold by anyone to who knows who in what country.

The 81mm is traceable. Where it was made, who made it, destination, and where it ended, lost in transit or inventory. What manufacturer initials/logo are on the 81mm? What lot and part number? What what.

That the shell markings appear to be in English proves nothing, or the date, or the HE. It does not prove Iran is arming Iraq insurgency, nor does it prove BushCo intel is trying to frame Iran.

In a world armed to the teeth, anyone anywhere at any time – with enough cash in hand - can get conventional weapons of choice. (And apparently nuclear technology too.)

I've seen similar mortar rounds, unused, wash up on beaches in foreign countries. I saw American backed Contras supplied with Russian made AKs but the USSR was not arming the Contras, well not directly anyway, but Colonel Oily North's crew bought AKs from somewhere.

So who is Little Miss 81mm's daddy. It could be Iran aiding militia in Iraq. It could be a US friend or ally.

It could be a dud spray painted to make BushCo look even more evil and stupid (after his media-backed debut as benevolent good ol' boy), in preparation of the incoming Queen Clinton who will bring sanity and peace to the fevered brow of American foreign policy. Saving us from these mad mad neocons. Whew! and just in time. Snatching us back from the brink of nooklur holocaust.

You know the old saying, alls fair in love and war, and toying with Joe Blow.
