I Do Declare

Here's an old favorite, oft heard talking point which pretentious white folks use to pander to the dumber among them :

"… only Congress can declare war: Congress did not do so with either Afghanistan or Iraq."

But war was not formally declared by Congress for Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, "Contra War," Panama, Somalia, the first Gulf War, and others … yet millions died as a result of those "conflicts" or peacekeeping missions or "police actions."

What part of "congressional or UN authorization" do pinheads not understand? The US has always been a phony democratic republic, rewriting the rules, adjusting the paperwork to suit the agenda; you might even say - cookin' the constitution.

It's been said that the U.S. Constitution is absolutely no impediment to our present form of government.

Absolutely not.
