Heartland Pollcats
An area poll I caught on TV last night shows the heartland residents are not happy with the economy. Having thrown my dish satellite off the roof in March of 2002 (retaliation against MSM lying) I've been using rabbit ears and pick up 3 regional channels, KFVS in Cape Girardeau, MO comes in the clearest.
Their poll question, put to those living in the armpit of a few red states, southern IL, northwest TN, western AR, KY, and the bootheel of MO, "Do you think the U.S. economy is better or worse than it was one year ago?" shows 73 percent voting the economy is worse.
Some will blame it on leftover effects of Clinton policies (but that's getting harder, even here, after 5 years of Bush), some will blame it on terrorism. But 73 is a number big enough to say a lot of red state folks are looking harder at BushCo.
